Story Behind the Song

Living nearby the ocean, I was in my living room with my baby grand piano. It was shortly after my first divorce and I had been on a few dates. I found dating impossible to be meaningful. On an extraordinarily bright, sunny day, as I was looking out my beach front window, I let my imagination create a dream lover and how we shared the day lying on the beach in the bright sunshine of San Francisco.
