Anaphylaxis is a life threatening condition that requires the immediate injection of epinephrine. One of the main reasons for fatalities is lack of access to medicine. This case was designed primarily for people who tend to leave their medicine at home because it is too bulky to carry. We make these cases for children and adults because we know first hand how important it is to have your medicine immediately accessible. When our teenage son became resistant to carrying EpiPens® when AUVI-Q® was temporarily unavailable, it became critical to create a case that made the duo pens as small as possible. With input from him and one of our teen customers, we developed the "Skinny" case to hold two EpiPens® snugly as our teen designers requested "like skinny jeans".
MATERIALS
The cases are made from Sunbrella® outdoor canvas and dimpled sport material with a zipper opening. They come with a webbing loop on top so that it can be attached to a backpack or belt loop with a carabiner clip (not included). Many people choose to tuck them in a pocket, purse, backpack or school binder. Whatever works best for you or your loved one to keep EpiPens® immediately accessible.
